Facial Enhancement Acupuncture

Facial Enhancement Acupuncture targets points and muscles of the face to improve the elasticity of the skin and general overall appearance. The stimulation of points with the use of fine needles encourages blood flow to the area, leaving a more radiant complexion and improved skin tone.

The results that are most expected from a facial acupuncture treatment are a smoothing of the skin and reduction in fine lines and wrinkles with the added benefit of harmonising the mind and body through the use of additional constitutional points. Facial acupuncture is a natural and safe approach to anti-ageing.

During a facial acupuncture treatment very fine acupuncture needles are inserted into facial acupuncture points as well as micro intradermal needles directly into fine lines and wrinkles. Needles are left in place for approximately 20 minutes and once removed a hyaluronic serum is applied followed by a moisturiser to maximise the benefits of the treatment. These will be absorbed into the skin in the area that has been needled and aid in the skin’s rejuvenation process.

For optimum results a course of 10 treatments is recommended at weekly intervals followed by regular 1 month to 6 weekly maintenance treatments. With this course of treatment there should be a dramatic improvement in the appearance of lines and general tightness of skin. A one -off treatment or less regular treatment can however still achieve results and leave the skin feeling revitalised and appear glowing.
